If Eminem shows up at a show or party, consider it a rare occassion. As an artist who rarely gets caught by TMZ video cameras or photographers staked out at airports, seeing Eminem, who lives in Detroit, is like an alien sighting.

The rapper appeared onstage last night at the Royal Oak Music Theater in Detroit for a suprise appearance alongside his new Shady Records signees, Slaughterhouse. For the final song of the night, Slaughterhouse performed the underground rap anthem "Shady 2.0" and Eminem joined them.

BET.com talked to Slaughterhouse member Crooked I, who said Em was waiting backstage during the show. "As soon as he walked out on stage, it literally felt like I was standing in front of a jet engine," says Crooked. "That’s how much energy was on the stage. We already had the crowd hyped up, but Em took it to a whole 'nother level."
