The pop star is in “serious” talks to land the rap diva as an opening act for her upcoming concerts.
Nicki Minaj has a new suitor in her life. Pop superstar Britney Spears has commissioned her camp to iron out a deal to make Minaj the opening act on Spears' upcoming summer tour.
According to TMZ.com, an agreement between the two platinum-selling artists is likely to be reached in the “next day or so.” A well-placed source tells the celebrity gossip site that the negotiations are “serious.”
Minaj, who is currently on Lil Wayne’s “I Am Still Music Tour,” became Spears' top choice after singer Enrique Iglesias backed out from the tour this week.
The dream hookup between Spears and Minaj on stage won’t even clash with the dates for Weezy’s tour. The “I Am Still Music Tour” ends on April 28th, and Spears kicks off her set on June 18th in Sacramento, California.
