Nate Dogg’s Sons Plan The Next Episode

The offspring of the late hip-hop crooner set to launch their own music career.

“Like father, like son” is how Nate Dogg’s two teenage sons—Lil Nate, 18, Naijlel, 15—described their intentions to launch music careers in the wake of their dad’s death last month.

The hip-hop progenies told TMZ.com that they intend to carry on their ole man’s musical legacy by recording songs with their “Uncle Snoop” [Dogg], DJ Quik, Game and a host of other west coast artists.

While the duo hasn’t been in the studio yet, they revealed to the celebrity gossip site that they’ve begun penning rhymes for their upcoming debut. And Lil Nate confessed that his father might not have been a fan of certain elements of their music.

“He wouldn’t like me cussing too much,” said Lil Nate.

Explicit content aside, if the sons are able to master the art of crafting infectious hooks like their dad did throughout his respected career, their music should go a long way in keeping the family legacy alive and well.
