Rocking his newly styled red mohawk, Compton rapper Game broke down the recording process of his new single "Red Nation" while on the set for the track's upcoming video.

Speaking to MTV News, Game said, "Red Nation" producers Cool & Dre, whom he's worked with since his 2005 debut album, The Documentary, have become like family.

"Cool & Dre, those are like two of my brothers in hip hop, man," he said. "From 'Hate It or Love It' to 'Red Nation,' 'Big Dreams,' they did a lot of my songs, man.... Those guys always come through."

Game said it was the Miami production duo's idea to get Lil Wayne on the hook for the song, which is the lead single for the West Coast star's much-delayed LP, The Red Album.

The video for the single will reportedly feature a post-apocalyptic vibe with Game starring as a rebel leader. Upstart director Parris, who has recently shot videos for Diddy and Enrique Iglesias, directed the visuals to “Red Nation.”
