Music fans with the dark twisted fantasy of seeing Nicki Minaj on tour with Britney Spears just got their wish. Following reports that the eccentric rap diva would join the unruly pop megastar on the upcoming "Femme Fatale" tour, TMZ is reporting that the deal has been sealed. Minaj will be Spears' opening act on the blockbuster tour, scheduled to begin this summer.
Previously, pop singer, Enrique Iglesias, was set to play second billing on the Spears tour, but he recently dropped out, opening up the opportunity for Spears to pursue hip hop’s leading lady. Nicki, still riding high from her 2010 debut, Pink Friday, is currently on the road performing with Young Money boss, Lil Wayne on the "I Am Still Music" tour. Minaj's penchant for giving steamy lap dances on stage during her set has been the talk of the tour, which ends on May 1.
Femme Fatale, Spears' seventh album, is currently the number one album in the country. Fans eager to see what the two over the top pop starlets are cooking up can find out starting June 17, when the tour kicks off in Sacramento.
