Jessie J is one of the latest artists to join the ranks of BET's Music Matters roster. Already a platinum selling artist in the U.K., the talented and stunning young singer dropped by the 106 & Park studio to perform "Mamma Knows Best" and support the U.S. release of her new album Who You Are.
During the interview, Jessie talked about her reception in the U.S. and explained how Who You Are represents her long journey as an artist who penned tunes for Miley Cyrus and Chris Brown and toured relentlessly before reaching a point in her career where she could fully cross over to the American market. "It's been amazing. The acceptance has been overwhelming," said the English diva. Her previous single "Price Tag" featuring B.O.B. peaked at No. 54 on the Billboard Hot 100 charts.
