No Bail Posted for Gucci Mane

Rapper sits in Atlanta jail because no one has posted the $5,700 bond.

Gucci Mane is still in jail. Not because he has to be, but because no one has come forward to post his $5,700 bond, according to rumorfix.com. The Atlanta-based rapper was locked up on April 8 for violating his probation and has been in the DeKalb County jail ever since.

Gucci, whose real name is Radric Davis, was arrested last week during a visit to his probation officer after he allegedly pushed a 36-year-old woman out of a movng vehicle. According to the police report, Davis picked the woman up back in January and asked her to eat breakfast with him. He then offered her $150 to go to a hotel with him. After she declined, he shoved her out of his car. Gucci has been in jail since his recent arrest, and no one has posted bail for him.

The "So Icey" rapper, who owns a Lamborghini, has had more than a couple run-ins with the law. Back in 2001 he was arrested for possession of cocaine. In 2005 he was indicted for a shooting incident, but the charges were later dropped because of insufficient evidence.

As a result of his probation violation, Gucci could serve up to two more years in prison. But until his bail is posted, he'll stay behind bars.
