DJ Pauly D from the MTV's reality show Jersey Shore could be on the verge of making fist-pumping hits with a hip hop megastar. Rapper 50 Cent is said to be seriously pursuing a record deal that will bring the reality star to his G-Unit Records label.

According to TMZ, 50 has offered the buff television star a three-album deal to join G-Unit. A source with knowledge of the negotiations told the celebrity news site that the parties met in NYC last week, and Fiddy made “a lucrative offer” to Pauly. Along with making music together the deal will include the two stars joining forces on a merchandise line that will produce products like Pauly D-brand headphones.

The source also disclosed that 50 Cent wants to get the deal squared away before Pauly D goes off to Italy to start filming the fourth season of the hit television show.

50 Cent isn’t the first rap superstar to show an affinity for the Jersey Shore and its cast members. Previously Lil’ Wayne professed his love for the ladies on the reality series.
