Cee Lo Green Lights Gwyneth Paltrow Album

The “Forget You” singer says he’s “ready and willing” to participate on potential project with actress.

If rumors are true that Academy Award-winning actress Gwyneth Paltrow is prepping her debut album, rapper and singer-songwriter Cee Lo Green told Entertainment Tonight he’s ready and willing to contribute to the project.

“[Gwyneth] did me such a great favor by coming along and joining in with me for the Grammys that if she asked me to do something or if this rumor of her having a record deal is true and she reaches out to me, of course [I would work with her],” Cee Lo told ET.

Earlier this year Paltrow joined Cee Lo on stage at the 2011 Grammys to perform his “Forget You,” after the actress infamously performed the song solo on an episode of Glee.

Cee Lo will also star alongside pop singer Christina Aguilera and Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine in NBC’s new reality series The Voice. As opposed to the traditional television talent searches, this show sets itself apart by holding blind auditions and utilizes a panel of coaches instead of judges.

“Ultimately we do not judge,” Cee Lo says on the novelty of the show. “It is about the encouragement, the mentoring, the nurturing of a very potential star.”

The Voice debuts on April 26.
