Lil Phat Show Ends in Gunfire

Member of rapper's entourage charged with attempted murder after a shooting at an Alabama concert for the Trill Entertainment rapper.

Travis Demond Carroll, 23, a member of Lil Phat's entourage, was arrested and charged with attempted murder and second degree assault for a shooting that took place outside a local club in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, according to allhiphop.com.

Following a Lil Phat concert at the Black Orchid, a man allegedly tried to rob the rapper as he was leaving the club. As a result, Carroll fired at the man numerous times with a 9mm pistol. The victim sustained serious injuries from the shooting and is listed in critical condition at an area hospital. A woman standing nearby was shot in the back and treated for minor injuries.

Tuscaloosa police are holding Carroll on $75,000 bond.

Lil Phat is signed to the Baton Rouge, Louisiana-based label Trill Entertainment, home to rappers Lil' Boosie and Webbie.
