HBO recently released a teaser as it counts down until its May 7 broadcast of "Lady Gaga Presents The Monster Ball Tour: At Madison Square Garden." The black-and-white documentary-style clip features an emotional moment with the singer as she fights through insecurity issues and prays backstage. Even though she's reached megastar status, Gaga is still reminded of her "loser" days in high school and shares how important it is for her to be true to herself and her loyal fans.
"I just sometimes feel like a loser still, you know?" she says as she wipes the makeup and tears from her eyes. "It's crazy 'cause we're like at the Garden, but I still sometimes feel like a loser kid in high school and I just got to pick my s--t up. I have to pick myself up and I have to tell myself that I'm a superstar every morning so that I can get through this day and be for my fans what they need for me to be."
"I'm fighting for every kid that's like me, that felt like I felt and feels like I still feel," she continues. "It hurts when I know how much authenticity and how much genuine blood is in my spirit and how much I feel that people don't know that."
