Paige Miles survives near-fatal car accident.
American Idol alum Paige Miles experienced a freak accident Tuesday night [April 26] that was more intense than any challenge Idol judges threw at her.
According to TMZ, the 25-year-old singer was on the way to her Florida home when the GMC Envoy she was driving burst into flames.
“The electric shut down, the car doors wouldn’t open, I jumped out my window and watched my mother’s Envoy blaze,” Miles shared on her Facebook page. The vehicle was left in ruins, making Miles’ escape even more miraculous.
The starlet, an 11th place finalist from Season 9 of the television talent show, walked away from the incident a little shaken but without any major injuries.
