Soulja Boy Confirms His Relationship With Diamond

The two Atlanta rappers are more than just friends.

Soulja Boy and Diamond are officially a couple. Both rappers called into an Atlanta radio station to confirm to the Dirty Boyz that they were an item.

"Hey man, you already know how that go," Soulja Boy said. "What's another man's trash is another man's treasure. Me and shorty rocking, straight like that."

Diamond was previously linked to fellow ATL rapper Lil Scrappy, who helped introduce her rap game as a member of the group Crime Mob. Scrappy had planned on doing a mixtape and an album with his former fiancée, a la "Mr. & Mrs. Smith," but the project never came to life. The relationship, however, fizzled out, and now photos of Diamond and Soulja Boy have surfaced online, stirring interest from hip hop fans.

The radio station DJ also talked to Diamond, who was less generous than SB with the details. "Yeah, it's official. Y'all know what's up," she said. When asked about how long they had been dating, Diamond said she couldn't get into all that.

Soulja Boy's reference to "another man's trash" seems to stem from recent comments made about Diamond by Lil Scrappy's mother, Mama D. Speaking on her son's former girlfriend, Scrappy's mother had a mouthful of not-so-nice things to say about Diamond. "I want to put my hand around that b---h throat. I want you to go on the radio and say 'Mama D is angry because you don't mess with Mama D's son," said Scrappy's mom.

When questioned about why he was now letting it be known, Soulja Boy said he had no reason to lie. "Y'all been knowing me ever since I first came out, you know what I mean?"

In an interview with XXLmag.com, Soulja Boy admitted that the media attention he's getting with regards to Diamond comes along with being a celebrity and being in a relationship.

Seems like SB has the juice and the diamond.
