Never one to miss out on a business opportunity, rap mogul 50 Cent is set to make good use of his 4.4 million followers on Twitter by launching an app for the microblogging service. Fif is partnering with the popular Twitter app developer UberMedia on a new Blackberry app called Uber50.

The rapper-endorsed product comes in two versions: a free one that features a custom skin, artwork and access to 50's Twitter lists, and a $1.99 "G'd Up" version that comes with sound effects recorded by the rapper himself.

“Twitter has become an important way for me to communicate with my fans and for my fans to communicate with each other,” 50 said in a statement. “We’re all big users of UberSocial on the BlackBerry and already use many of their current themes to customize the look of the app, so it was a natural for me to work with UberMedia to develop a special theme. I think my fans are going to love sending and reading their tweets with my new theme.”

If you have a Blackberry, check out the apps at Uber50.com.
