Ludacris joins Pharrell as the latest hip hop star to come out with news that he’s going green.

The rapper recently announced his decision to switch to G-Oil motor oil, produced by Green Earth Technologies (GET).

“I’m going to change my oil and change the world!” the Atlanta representative wrote on his Facebook page. “I’m switching to a GREEN high performance made-in-America motor oil, G-OIL.”

According to a press release, the green fuel is “made of a blend of nature’s American grown base oils and the first U.S. produced ultimate biodegradable bio-based motor oil to be approved by the American Petroleum Institute.”

As previously reported, the Fast Five star is also keeping busy preparing for the release of his eighth studio album, Ludaversal.
