Nas Speaks on Squashed Prodigy Beef

A post-jail phone call got the two rappers back on the up and up.

Since being released from jail in March, Prodigy, half of the Queens duo Mobb Deep, has released an EP, The Ellsworth Bumpy Johnson EP, exclusively on Complex.com and an autobiography titled, My Infamous Life: The Autobiography of Mobb Deep's Prodigy. The book has caused a bit of commotion as it calls out many names in the hip-hop world including people like Capone and Saigon.

However one person who no longer has any beef with Prodigy is the God's son himself, Nas. He stopped by MTV to talk with Sway and had this to say:

"I think he was misinformed about things, like I was a negative guy or like I was trying to harm him in any kind of way. I think maybe he just grew up a little bit."

Nas recorded "Dog Sh*t" with Mobb Deep and the Alchemist shortly after Prodigy was released was jail. Since then P has had only good things to say about Nasir.

"When we make songs together, man, it's another level, it's incredible music. It just gives you that feeling, like nostalgia almost."

Esco isn't sure if any more collaborations are in their future. Right now he's busy in the studio working on his newest album.
