Queens emcee 50 Cent has made another move toward cementing his place in Hollywood. According to Variety, he just signed on to appear in Odd Thomas, an adaptation of the Dean Koontz novel of the same name. He will play a blind DJ named Shamus Cocobolo, who helps Odd uncover a Satanic plot. The movie will also star Anton Yelchin (in the lead role), Willem Dafoe and Patton Oswalt.

The slasher has several movies in the pipeline, including Setup and Fire With Fire, both with Bruce Willis, and Freelancers, which he is currently filming with Forest Whitaker and Robert De Niro.
