Diddy is constantly reinventing himself. Feeling reborn after recovering from a bad case of the flu, Diddy has decided to rename himself. 

In a video released last night, Diddy thanks fans for sending well wishes to his sick bed before introducing them to his new alter ego, “Swag.” “I had a lot to think about when I was almost dying underneath the covers with a fever but I’m not dead,” says Combs. I’m alive. I am live!” 

As previously reported, Diddy fell sick with the flu and was forced to cancel Final Coming Home tour dates. A rep for Diddy released a statement saying that he was so sick his doctor ordered bed rest. 

“So I decided that I’m going to change my name for a week in honor of my comeback,” Diddy proclaimed. “Now, ya’ll know I’ve gone as Puff, Puffy, Puff Daddy, P. Diddy, Diddy, King Combs, my real name is Sean Combs and for a week, this week only, you can call me by my new name. My new name is Swag.” 

The hip hop mogul even went so far as to create a second Twitter account in addition to his original @iamdiddy page: @iamswag. At press time, the secondary page was already being followed by more than 8,000 people.
