Sean Kingston Crash Not Alcohol-Related

Singer’s condition is critical but stabilized as alcohol is ruled out as factor.

Singer Sean Kingston remains in critical condition in a Miami hospital after being involved in a jet ski accident this past Memorial Day weekend. As previously reported, Kingston and a female passenger were rushed to the hospital on Sunday May 29 evening.

An excerpt from the report released by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission reads, “Anderson [Kingston] was operating a PWC [personal watercraft] with a female passenger westbound along McArthur Crossway towards the Palm Ave. bridge. Anderson struck the bridge and was transported to Ryder Trauma Center in critical condition.”

Although the “Beautiful Girls” singer remains in critical condition, it’s been reported that his condition has stabilized. Alcohol has been ruled out as a factor in the accident and the 23 year-old woman on the jet ski with Kingston at the time was reportedly uninjured.
Well-wishers have been sending the Miami resident condolences since the accident, and tennis star Serena Williams reportedly visited Kingston at Jackson Memorial Hospital on Tuesday. Williams posted a message on her Twitter page with the young singer in mind. "I am thankful that I have today. Tomorrow is not promised to any of us. I'm gonna make every day the best I can. #loveuSeankingston," she wrote.
