The Purple one surprised fans with three shows in one night

Published May 27, 2011

The man may be turning 53 in a couple weeks but he continues to rock like it’s 1999. Wednesday night was no different, as he performed three different shows in one night at Los Angeles’s House of Blues. For those lucky enough to be on the West Coast the moment this news broke (Charlie Sheen tweeted about it, thinking he let the cat out of the bag and the show was a surprise), the less than $200 tickets guaranteed fans to hours of royal entertainment.

A treat beyond words, this three-show-in-one-night stint was similar to his 7/7/07 performance in his home state of Minneapolis. The difference, however, is Minneapolis’ took place in three different venues, whereas Los Angeles’ went down under one roof. So who actually made the show? The StarTribune reports, Yale professor Cornel West, actor Tom Cruise, U2 frontman Bono and of course, Mr. Sheen.
