The rapper/singer is set to give birth to her sixth child.
Lauryn Hill made a special announcement Saturday night, June 4, at her concert in Detroit's Chene Park. The platinum-selling artist told fans she was pregmamt with her sixth child.
This comes to no one's surprise though, as she's been walking around sporting a telling baby bump. However, this is the first time the mother of five publicly confirmed her latest pregnancy. Two months ago the former Fugees star joked with fans at a show in Los Angeles, telling the audience, "I keep having these children. I don't know if I'm the most fertile woman in America."
Hill and boyfriend Rohan Marley, son of reggae legend Bob Marley, are already raising children Zion David-Nesta Marley, Selah Marley, Joshua Marley, John Marley and Sarah Marley.
No word on when the baby is due, but Hill is ending her tour to make time to give birth. She's still expected to appear at scheduled Rock the Bells dates in Los Angeles (August 20), San Francisco (August 27) and New York (September 3).
