Lil Wayne Being Sued Again for Tha Carter III

Another producer files a lawsuit against Weezy for production fees.

Young Money, Cash Money...David Kirkwood wants his money.The producer is the third to come forward claiming that he is owed for his production services on Lil Wayne's Tha Carter III.  According to allhiphop.com, a lawsuit was filed on Friday, June 3, in New York Southern District Court against the two popular rap labels (YM and CM) behind the release.

 

The suit claims that Young Money and Cash Money owe Kirkwood over $1.5 million in royalties and production services. Back in March, Darius "Deezle" Harrison sued Lil Wayne, claiming he was owed $20 million for his work on Tha Carter III. Producer Bangladesh also sued Wayne in 2007 for work he claims he did on the same album.

 

Wayne is currently in the studio recording for his upcoming album,Tha Carter IV, which is scheduled for an August 29 release.
