K Koke, a British rapper best known on this side of the pond as an artist signed to Jay-Z's Roc Nation imprint, has been arrested and charged with the attempted murder of a 27-year-old man who remains unnamed by police, according to reports.

Koke, a 25-year-old born Kevin Georgiou, is facing the charges along with four other suspects, who are accused of shooting the man in the back during a pursuit through a London train station. The victim has since been released from the hospital.

Police raided Koke's home last week and took him into custody. He is due to appear in court on June 15.

Koke signed to Roc Nation in January of this year. He caught Jay-Z's ear with his two-part mixtape series Pure Koke volumes 1 and 2, which were both critically lauded in the UK.
