As Texas’s biggest and baddest belle gears up for album release on Tuesday, expect huge performances
Beyoncé has never been known to do anything on a small scale and this fourth studio album is being promoted in all the biggest and best ways. First it was leaked earlier this month, three weeks prior to the actual release date, to the delight of her fans who got to hear her and Outkasts Andre 3000 on the same track. Writing to MTV, Mrs. Carter said, "My music was leaked and while this is not how I wanted to present my new songs, I appreciate the positive response from my fans.”
Not to be outdone, the multi-platinum artist decided to drop her singles, one-by-one, leading up to June 28 date when the album becomes available for real this Tuesday. Before that happens, expect the superstar to kill it tonight on the BET Awards as she goes up against other R&B divas, including Jennifer Hudson and Rihanna in the “Best Female R&B Artist” category. Fans know they will also be in for a treat tonight when the starlet performs “Pull Me In Close and Don’t Let Me Go.” As her Destiny Child’s best friend Kelly Rowland is also performing, DC fans are amped to see if they will share the stage together again.
Following the release of the album and the awards, the Texas native will also perform on "Good Morning America" in New York City Friday, July 1. It’s surely a good week to be a Beyoncé fans.
