What started off as a fringe music festival founded by Detroit hip-hop outcasts Insane Clown Posse has evolved into a summer music festival to rival Lollapalooza. Gathering of the Juggalos, in it's twelfth year, has booked over twenty acts, including…Charlie Sheen? The embattled (some say) actor will take the stage on August 13 in Cave-in-Rock, Illinois along with Busta Rhymes, Lil Jon, MC Hammer, Vanilla Ice and Flavor Flav.
Last year's Gathering ended abruptly when crowds pelted performers Tila Tequila and Method Man with rocks, but ICP's Violent J insists that the attack was…their fault? TMZ reports that he has reduced security at this year's event, claiming that attendees will have "mad respect" for this year's performers. Really? If Method Man and Tila could inspire such violence, we would suggest riot gear for the two washed up MCs and the controversial actor.
