Fans will finally hear "the real Ruben."
Ruben Studdard is ready to shed his American Idol persona and re-introduce himself to the world. The Grammy nominated artist recently signed with a new label, Shanachie Entertainment, for the release of his next album this fall. The new album, Ruben says, is one he's been "waiting a really long time for my fans to finally hear. This will be the first time that one producer and one writer will be working on my entire album to create one sound,” he promises. “I want my fans to feel like they have been taken on a musical journey by Ruben Studdard.”
He certainly has the support of his label on this one. "We believe that for all his success, Ruben Studdard is an undervalued artist," says Shanachie General Manager, Randall Grass. "Part of that may be due to his versatility; he has achieved in so many different areas that people just aren't aware of the totality of his talent. We are very excited at the prospect of working with Ruben and his team to take him to the next level of success in this new phase of his career."
