The rap rookie is making the summer tour a star-studded affair.
Rapper T.I. once said, “I’m like the moon the way I shine and bring the stars out.” Well, with the surprises that he’s been serving audiences on 106 & Park’s "Closer to My Dreams" tour, it's obvious that teen star Diggy Simmons can say the same.
This past Saturday, while performing at Houston’s House of Blues, Diggy brought out the underground king himself, Houston’s own Bun B.
When asked why he chose to invite the U.G.K legend on stage with him that night, Diggy told BET.com:
"It was only right to do in Houston. Bun's been showing me love for a while now, and he reached out to come so his kids could have a good time so they all came, and I had to have the legend come out and say wussup to the city."
This is not the first time that the young lyricist surprised an audience with a special guest. Almost a week prior to the show in Houston, Justin Bieber sparked pandemonium when he appeared on stage for a faint-inducing, scream-provoking performance.
Not done hypnotizing young girls all across the nation, the next stop for the Closer to My Dreams tour will be in Milwaukee, WI, tonight (July 20).
And with the way things have been going for the young Simmons so far, it’s hard not to expect more treats in the future. The question is, which star will he bring out next?
