The "Diamond Girl" crooner brings lifestyle event and series to the web.
This week, producer/singer/songwriter Ryan Leslie performed at The Darby in NYC for the kick off of his new event series, Culture Clash. The gathering brings together personalities from the music, fashion, film, technology, art, design and philanthropic arenas to create a forum for innovation and conversation.
Leslie, is a master of grassroots social media—he produced and was the driving force behind Cassie’s “Me and You,” and helped the mo-hawked beauty go from Internet superstar to signing a record deal with Diddy's Bad Boy Records.
“I love the Internet because the metrics are very real,” Leslie said.
In partnering with Jose Cuervo Platino, Leslie created a viral lifestyle series, which includes still images and video shorts from Culture Clash events.
On Tuesday night (July 19), Leslie offered a surprise performance, playing songs from his upcoming album, Les is More, slated for release this fall features his singles “One Lonely Heart” and “Maybachs + Diamonds.” Check out RyanLeslieTV on YouTube for more on the Culture Clash Series.
