After seeing fans fall in love with “The Best Thing I Never Had,” the second single from her new album, 4, Beyoncé is turning to fans to shoot an alternate video for the song. A post on her website asks fans to submit videos of their amazing weddings or their less-than-stellar proms. They can be upload to YouTube or Flicker, using the hashtag #BeyonceBestThing.

According to Billboard.com, the deadline for submissions is August 12; a few lucky folks will see their videos incorporated into Bey’s final creation this September.

The original Diane Martel-directed video features Beyoncé marrying a man who is a big improvement on her high school sweetheart.
