The R&B singer hits the road in anticpation of new album.
Ryan Leslie is testing the waters as he preps his third solo album, Les is More. And from the looks of things it's safe to say fans are ready for More.
Last Thursday night, the streets of New York were hot and humid, but not nearly as much as the packed venue of SOBs, where Leslie performed. The singer/songwriter/producer performed a two-hour set with the crowd singing along to every word. His band sweating profusely as they cranked out notes while Leslie pounded out new tracks from his forthcoming third LP, Les is More on his piano keyboard. Midway through the show, he brought out Red Café and the two moved the crowd with "Fly Together".
It's all in preparation for the release of a new album that the singer is really excited about. The next stop for Leslie is the star-studded Lollapalooza concert this weekend.
"Friday I'm playing Lollapalooza. Last year I wrote a rap about missing festivals. I did 3 this year. I LOVE...," Leslie tweeted.
Leslie is featured on a line-up that includes, Nas, Cee Lo Green, and Eminem.
