The rapper says he's putting all his energy into upcoming album instead.
Kid Cudi's too busy for his own good. Cudi recently announced that he had to ditch his plans to release his proposed A Man Named Scott mixtape in order to focus on his upcoming album. The Cleveland rapper went on his tumblr to explain why the project was scrapped.
"A Man Named Scott is scrapped everyone, I know its a bummer but ive just been too busy with this new album and thats where all my energy is right now," wrote Cudi. "I gotta work on what moves me creatively. After this im going straight to work on MOTM3 so dont trip. You'll deinately have the WIZARD album this year so no worries. Trust im working extra hard to make this s--t as amazing as possible and get yall some new jams. Again, sorry for the late notice. I know youll understand, I hope you understand ha."
In addition to the album, the second season of the HBO series How to Make It America starring Cudi will debut October 2 and feature guest appearances from super producer Pharrell and fellow GOOD Music artists Pusha T.
