It looks like Kanye West will be helping video gamers move harder, better, faster and stronger. The dynamic performer and one half of The Throne will be headlining the Call of Duty XP event scheduled for September 3 in Los Angeles.

The event, the first of its kind, will promote Activision's wildly popular Call of Duty first-person shooter game series. The show will also benefit the Call of Duty Foundation, which provides assistance to veterans of the armed services.

Activision plans to release the highly anticipated title Modern Warfare 3 in November, and is touting the Kanye performance as "his first public performance since the release of his fifth #1 album, the global smash Watch the Throne.' "

Tickets are going for $150 and include a full two days of Call of Duty-related festivities.
