British soul sensation Adele revealed that she's been booked to record an original song for the next James Bond film. The 21-year-old singer let the news slip in an interview with UK late night host Jonathan Ross.

"I'm going back in the studio in November, fingers crossed. Well, this is actually a theme, what I've got to do. Wow, that's really giving something away," Adele revealed.

Ross speculated that the theme was for the upcoming James Bond film set to begin production in November, humming the iconic tune that opens the popular spy series. Adele said her contribution wouldn't be an interpretation of that song, but a different, original composition.

"No, it's a concept. One song," she said.

The "Rolling in the Deep" singer would join a long list of pop stars who have recorded original music for Bond soundtracks, including Madonnna and Alicia Keys.
