Is the hip-pop group finished?
In addition to galavanting around the U.K. for London Fashion Week, Kanye West saluted what may be the end of the Black Eyed Peas?
During his set at the Austin City Limits Music Festival in Austin, Texas on Friday (September 16), Kanye West announced a farewell to the hip-pop foursome.
Against a backdrop of fog and laser beams, according to Aol's Boombox, West ended his set with "All of the Lights" featuring Black Eyed Peas' front woman Fergie's verse, saying "Rest in peace to the Black Eyed Peas. You're gonna be missed!"
Several months earlier and across the pond, Fergie told a concert audience in Staffordshire, U.K. that the group would be taking an "indefinite break" from recording, adding that the show was "very special," because it would be the "last time we're going to be in England for a long time."
BEP front man will.i.am added to her announcement, tweeting "The @Bep will take a break after the beginning ... just like we did from Monkey Business to The E.N.D … but it doesn't mean we stop creating."
No official statement has been released regarding the group's official plans to stay together or go their separate ways.
