The super-producer says upcoming material is fire.
Between acting in shorts, designing clothing and promoting his new liqueur, Qream, Pharrell is more than busy, but he told Vibe.com today that he’s in “full producer mode,” before spilling abut his latest projects.
He confirmed that he’s working with Jay-Z, but didn’t give any specifics. “I’m working with him, but he’s not talking about what he’s doing,” he said. “Whatever he needs, I got him. I just can’t go into [it]…There’s some magic.”
He did elaborate on the tracks he has laid for Mary J. Blige’s My Life 2: The Journey Continues, however: “The Mary stuff is sick. [She’s] on her A-game right now. Her new album is incredible and I’m honored to be a part of it,” he shared.
He also found time to work with The Dream. “Shout out to The Dream too,” he said. “I did something for him and we’re getting ready to go in.” Singer Robin Thicke also recently revealed that he’s looking to hit the studio with P soon.
