T.I. only got his freedom back yesterday, but he's hitting the ground running.
DJ Drama recently revealed that the Atlanta spitter, just released from an Atlanta halway house, will drop a new cut very soon. Titled "I'm Flexin'," the song features up-and-coming Mississippi MC-producer Big K.R.I.T. behind the boards and on the mic.
“The record that [T.I.’s] dropping next week features Big K.R.I.T. on it,” Drama told XXLmag.com. “K.R.I.T. produced it.”
An extremely short snippet—more of a tease, really—hit the Internet last week, and yesterday Tip also unveiled the artwork for the new song (pictured above).
T.I. stayed busy while finishing out his 10-month prison sentence for drug charges and probation violations in the halfway house over the past few weeks. “Basically when he’s in the halfway house he’s allowed to still work,” Drama said. “So he’s been in the studio working. You know I was in there the other day; by the second day that I went in I had already heard like 13, 14 songs, new songs. Pharrell came the other day when I was in there. He dropped off a couple new joints. He already sent something the day before. That was done.”
We can't wait to hear.
