Last week, TMZ leaked a song that featured Ray J alongside recently-defeated boxer Victor Ortiz. The news raised a few eyebrows because Ray J has ties with Ortiz’s opponent and match champion Floyd Mayweather and now the singer is saying he and the boxer never recorded a song together and that the whole story was fabricated.

"I don't know how the media even comes up with these crazy stories. We ain't never been in the studio together not one time," the reality TV star told Shade 45's "The All Out Show" on Thursday.

The upbeat track, titled "Baddest Girl," paired Ray J's vocals with Ortiz's raps and was produced by DJ Ian Carey. Ortiz has rapped before (under Mr. Ortiz) and released a single called "Catwal" this spring.

As for what's actually happening in Ray J's life now that he's finally decided to bury the hatchet with Fabolous? A new television show and book are in the works, but he's yet to reveal details to the public.
