During a private event in Atlanta to launch the next stage in his AKOO clothing line, rapper T.I. received a customized set of Beats By Dre headphones. He is just one artist of a select few who have received a personalized pair from Dr. Dre's brand. T.I.'s came in gold and black with the words "Salute the King" written on one side. Inside, the message "Big Phill 1980-2006" is in memory of the southern rapper's childhood friend Philant Johnson who was shot five years ago.

"I never receive gifts," T.I. joked.

Friends and family were in attendance at the Sunday event as well as rappers Young Jeezy and Nelly, Ed Lover, and record executive Kevin Liles among others.
