Drake Delays Album "Take Care"

Hip hop fans will have to wait another three weeks to get their hands on Drake’s sophomore album, Take Care. The album, which features guests Stevie Wonder, Rick Ross and Lil Wayne, has been pushed back from the rapper's 25th birthday, October 24, to November 15.

On his blog “October’s Very Own,” Drake explains he wanted to make the birthday event official but has three samples to clear. Instead of releasing the album without them, he's going to wait and present the album the way he envisions it.

The rapper who produced the album in his hometown of Toronto writes, “November 15 you will get Take Care the exact way I created it with no trimmings. This music means too much to me to get attached to dates and I do apologize for the delay.”
