Weezy responds to the criticism from Luther Campbell.
After getting called out by Luther “Uncle Luke” Campbell for "free loading and mooching" off his native Miami, Lil Wayne has a few words for the 2 Live Crew founder and former mayoral candidate.
Last week Wayne was on the receiving end of some pointed criticism from Luke, who wrote in a column for the Miami New Times that Weezy and other rappers, including Diddy and DJ Khaled, had settled in Miami only to take from the community without giving back.
"I'm tired of seeing these cats using up our beaches, soaking up our sunshine, taking over the nightclubs, and sleeping with our women without investing anything into the community. I want to know when Lil Wayne is going to do more than show up courtside at the American Airlines Arena. Hell, it's not like he paid for them anyway. You know he got comped," Luke wrote.
Taking issue with the column, Tunechi responded with a brief but potent rejoinder on Twitter.
"This N***a Luke trippin!!!!" he tweeted.
No word yet from the other transplants to the Magic City.
