50 Cent is taking his campaign to feed hungry children, announced last month, to a new level. Fiddy and his energy drink company, Street King, are using Facebook in hopes of bringing a million meals to hungry children this week.
The campaign, running in conjunction with the United Nations' World Food Day, is called "One Like = One Meal." For every "Like" that Street King receives on its Facebook page, the company promises to donate a meal to a hungry child. The goal is 1 million meals donated this week; if that number is reached, 50 says he'll match their donation and give away another million meals.
Last month, 50 and Street King announced plans to feed a billion hungry children, promising to give away a meal per every shot of Street King sold. Visit Street King's website for more information.
