The ATL rapper dished about his unexpected new business partner.
Suge Knight surely knows a few things about going "Hard in Da Paint." Nonetheless, fans were confused—and maybe a little concerned—when word leaked that Waka Flocka Flame and Suge had begun working together.
The Brick Squad member discussed his unexpected partnership with the controversial Death Row CEO in a recent interview.
"Suge is just here because I grab game from Suge," Waka told hiphopnews24-7.com, referring to Knight's experience in the record industry. "He's shown me his mistakes, he's tellin' me his mistakes. He told me the mistakes he made so I don't make the same mistakes."
Waka also said he thinks Suge will help him expand his presence on the West Coast. "I'm looking forward to that," he replied. “I wasn’t looking [at it] like, ‘I got Suge, I got the West Coast.’ … I wasn’t looking at it like that, but it comes with it.”
