Erick Sermon Assures Public That He's "Good"

Erick Sermon had the hip hop community worrying about his health after news broke on Saturday that the 42-year-old had experienced a heart attack. Few details were known, but Sermon finally reached out to GlobalGrind Sunday afternoon to say he was still in the hospital, but doing well.

"I'm good! I got two more tests on Monday and Tuesday then I'm home hopefully out Wednesday," he said.

DJ Scratch was the one who shared the news over Twitter Saturday writing, "Erick Sermon had a heart attack today. He's ok, but still send your prayers." 

DJ Scratch once worked for legendary hip hop duo EPMD, which consisted of Sermon and rapper Parrish Smith.
