Nicki Minaj, Adele Win Big at American Music Awards!

Plus, other winners and highlights of the show.

Nicki Minaj and Adele were the night's big winners at the American Music Awards! The "Super Bass" rapper double-fisted with a pair of trophies for Best Rap/Hip Hop Artist (she beat her mentor, Lil Wayne) and Favorite Rap/Hip Hop Album for Pink Friday.

Minaj also caused a stir with her show-starting performance with David Guetta, and her outlandish outfit that included speakers on her breasts and sneakers on her derriere.

Adele, who missed the show because she is recovering from a hemorrhaged vocal chord, won three trophies: Favorite Rock/Pop Album, Rock/Pop Female Artist and Favorite Adult Contemporary Artist.

Other notable winners included Beyoncé, who won Best Female Soul/R&B Artist, Rihanna for Favorite Soul/R&B Album and Usher for Favorite Male Soul/R&B Artist.

Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony both performed at the show — awkwardly sharing custody of rapper Pitbull, who took the stage with both of them — but Jennifer beat out her ex for Favorite Latin Artist of the year.

After an introduction by 50 Cent, Chris Brown pulled off another flawless performance of his hits, "All Back" and "Say It With Me," complete with back-up dancers dressed in white.

Here's a complete list of winners from Sunday night's show.
