J. Cole had a banner year in 2011, releasing his long-awaited first album, Cole World: The Sideline Story, claiming the top position on the Billboard Top 200 and headlining his own international tour. But before the year is out, the Roc Nation artist adds another feather to his cap with a coveted solo spot on the cover of RESPECT magazine.

Cole is the lead interview of the glossy hip hop culture magazine's winter issue, posing on the cover in a black leather jacket and graphic tee. This edition marks the publication's second anniversary and also features Meek Mill, A.S.A.P. Rocky, Common, French Montana and more.

Pick it up on news stands November 29.
