T.I. hands out Thanksgiving turkey in Atlanta

With his 10-month prison sentence behind him and a flurry of new music already on the way, T.I. definitely has a lot to be thankful for this year — and he showed it in Atlanta yesterday, giving out 300 turkeys during a charity drive for needy children.

The event took place at the Carrie Steele-Pitts Home, a child-care agency that houses neglected, abused and orphaned kids. Sources close to T.I. told TMZ that he chose to give thanks at the institution because of his own rough childhood.

"It's an honor and a pleasure to be able to be there and serve those who need me most in the community," T.I. said.

What are you doing to show thanks this holiday season? Let us know in the comments below.
