The Queen B announces her first studio release in six years.

The diminutive Brooklyn femcee has just announced the release of a new five-track EP, set to drop sometime around Christmas.
Kim took to Twitter (where else?) last week to reveal the project: "#TeamLilKim: For the Holidays I'm releasing a 5 song EP for yall as a preview of what's to come in 2012 & so on. 4rm Lil' Kim :) !!!!!"
It would be the first studio release from Kim in six years — her last was the gold-sellingThe Naked Truth in 2005. Unsigned since parting ways with Atlantic Records in 2008, the Queen B has ramped up the activity this past year, with her February mixtape Black Friday and her recent single, "I Am Not the One," which is currently available on iTunes.
