Another free offering for fans as they wait for the rapper’s debut album.
Prior to the release of his widely anticipated major label debut, Big K.R.I.T. plans to drop a new mixtape for his fans called 4Eva & a Day. A play on the Mississippi rapper's "return of 4eva" credo, the street release will be his third since breaking out with 2009's Krit Wuz Here.
Krit says the new mixtape will be released in early 2012 and reflect the changes he's gone through since touring the world.
"Based off the experience of touring in the past year I'm creating this free album from scratch as we speak. I have locked myself back in the studio — 4Eva & a Day coming soon on bigkrit.com," he said in a statement to Pitchfork.
Krit's Def Jam debut, Live From the Underground, is also expected for the first half of next year.
