The new track is from his upcoming project WZRD.
Kid Cudi has released the first single off the debut album from his new group WZRD with producer Dot Da Genius. Cudi gave fans a download link to a snippet of the track, "Teleport 2 Me," over Twitter Tuesday morning.
“Well, now that [I've] got your attention ha who wants to hear a snippet of 'Teleport 2 Me'?” he wrote. “You do of course, yea yea sure I got you! The official first single from the upcoming debut album by WZRD, 'Teleport 2 Me.'”
Fans' first taste of Cudi's WZRD project, a track called "Brake," apparently didn't go over too well with some last week.
"To the people that [don't] like it, I do, and I feel good about it," Cudi responded via Twitter.
But "Teleport 2 Me," which is much more in line with what we're used to hearing from the singer, had a better response among listeners.
"'Teleport 2 Me' is the new 'Computer Love' mad love for the new jam....cheesin n s--t ha,” he wrote.
His album is set to drop on Jan. 30, which is Cudi's 28th birthday.
