Although the Watch the Throne tour is winding down to its end, Jay-Z says all eyes should remain steadfast on the throne well into the new year. According to Jay, both himself and Kanye West have solo projects and possibly another collaborative album in the works.
Depending on the conclusion of the already highly successful Watch the Throne tour, Jigga told MTV.com that fans might expect a lot more from the pair.
"It depends on how this thing finishes up," said Jay of the Watch the Throne tour. "We — I say 'we' because I'm in Throne mode — we're in a great place creatively. You might see a Jay, then Kanye and a Throne album next year. You know, we're really in a great place creatively. We really found our zone."
As previously reported, one of the most popular singles on WTT, "N****s In Paris," recently broke into the Top 10 of Billboard's Hot 100 singles chart this week. The high-powered single marks Jay-Z's 18th Top 10 hit, putting him past Lil Wayne and Ludacris as the rapper with the most Top 10 songs in chart history.
"N***as in Paris" has been one of the most-talked-about moments of Jay's and Kanye's ongoing Watch the Throne tour, where the duo have been known to perform the track up to eight times back to back. It was also performed during the November 29 telecast of the Victoria's Secret Fashion show.
Jay-Z and Kanye West ride into Las Vegas tonight for the tour, which ends on Dec. 18 in Vancouver, B.C.
